My husband, daughter, and I stayed herein June 2009. The unit is centrally located, within walking distance to everything in Hood River. It's comfortable, with wireless Internet, cable TV, all the amenities of home. The owner lives in Hood River and was very helpful in directing us to local stores and recommending restaurants. On any return trip, we'll definitely be staying here!

The stay was great...
Super sunny on Saturday....went Mt Biking at Sincline instead of Cx skiing (no snow).
Went out on the town and met the locals at the 6th Street cafe and Double Mountain brewery.
(also hit up Pour House,Full Sail, ect)
We had a wonderful time....although I did lose the paperwork I printed out at work,
and had to find an on line point to get the pin code to get in, my bad.
but other than that all went super smooth.
A couple people at work wanted me to check this place out so they and their "others" could look into it. Being from Portland it's not necessary to have to stay the night in Hood River....most use it as a day trip only destination....although when doing multiple days in a row of outdoor activity and all you need is a place to sleep and shower your place is perfect....especially the price.
It makes it so that the finical burden isn't there and that all the comforts one needs is....
so in that respects it's perfect.
I would love to stay another couple nights in May also if your still Open to visitors.
I hope we left the place in as good of condition as we found it.
I'll pass the good words (and site) along to others here w/ much praise.
